APVA LAUNCHES “PODCASTING FOR DEVELOPMENT” PROGRAM WITH HEXA MEDIA AFRICA
To support African nonprofits, charities, and faith-based organizations in using podcasting as a strategy for fundraising and communications, The African Podcast and Voice Academy, a division of The Association of African Podcasters and Voice Artists (APVA), is proud to partner with Hexa Media Africa to launch the “Podcasting for Development” program.
As Africa’s premium community-driven organization dedicated to fostering the growth and development of the audio-creative industry, APVA is excited to partner with Hexa Media Africa, a full-service digital media agency that helps nonprofits and purpose-driven enterprises leverage technology, media, and communications for growth and impact.
“Podcasting is an innovative and effective tool for African development-focused organizations to reach their target audiences, tell their stories, and amplify their voices,” said Bidemi Adedire, APVA’s founder. “Through this partnership with Hexa Media Africa, we hope to empower African organizations to leverage the power of podcasting to increase their influence and impact.”
The “Podcasting for Development” program offers a range of services, including
- podcast production and distribution,
- training and capacity-building for podcasting,
- strategic podcast planning and development,
- customized podcast marketing and promotion.

Fees will be determined based on the scope and duration of the services required.
Organizations interested in participating in the “Podcasting for Development” program can apply HERE. The program is open to nonprofits, charities, social enterprises, and faith-based organizations in Africa. In addition, some members of APVA community of podcasters have been selected to feature winners of the just concluded Humanitarians Of Africa Award and tell their stories.
