Impact that speaks

We partner with Africa’s purpose-driven organizations to turn missions into movements. Here are some of the campaigns, fundraising systems, and launches we’ve built — from giving silence a voice to building fundraising engines from scratch.

Giving Silence a Voice

Some stories don’t make headlines. They live quietly in the bodies and memories of those who’ve survived gender-based violence — unspoken, unheard, and too often, unseen. When The Smile Outreach Foundation wanted to change that, they turned to us.

As communications managers for the foundation, we took on the digital channels end-to-end — content creation, strategy, and advocacy planning. Our flagship campaign, GBV Stories Untold, was built around a simple but powerful idea: give survivors and supporters a safe, anonymous space to share their experiences without fear or judgment. Running across 30 days as part of the global 16 Days of Activism, the campaign didn’t just raise awareness — it created community.

We also led two editions of the Period Chronicles campaign during Menstrual Hygiene Month. Through personal stories, myth-busting content, and open conversation, the campaign tackled period stigma head-on and promoted real menstrual literacy. The result? 13 stories shared and over 5,000 views across social media platforms — proof that when you make space for honesty, people show up.

Building a Fundraising Engine from the Ground Up

When NOB Foundation came to us, they had a mission worth funding — but no system to fund it. No strategy, no tools, no digital presence built for fundraising. Just a vision and a gap that needed filling.

We got to work building their entire digital fundraising infrastructure from scratch. That meant campaign planning and design, digital marketing and outreach, setting up fundraising tools and platforms, creating an email marketing automation system, and weaving community storytelling into every touchpoint. We didn’t just set up tools — we built a movement around their cause.

To date, we’ve organized four digital fundraising campaigns for NOB Foundation, collectively raising over $3,000 and counting. Beyond the numbers, we helped them build a donor community that believes in what they do — and keeps coming back.

Where Advocacy Meets Action

Running impactful events for social causes requires more than logistics — it requires intention. For The Smile Outreach Foundation, we planned, managed, and executed a series of landmark virtual events that brought communities together across Africa and beyond.

The *Digital Defence Webinar* — held as the closing event of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence — gathered young activists, digital educators, and community advocates from 19 African countries under one virtual roof. With 136 registered participants and 60 live attendees, it became a defining moment for youth-led digital rights conversations across the continent.

We also led three editions of the *Get JoyeD Up Webinar Series*, an initiative to destigmatize postnatal depression and champion maternal mental health. Through keynote sessions, panel discussions, and workshops, the series welcomed 135 registrations across its run.

And then there is *Voices Against Violence* — The Smile Outreach’s flagship annual gathering for gender justice. Across two editions, we helped bring together survivors, activists, educators, and policymakers, generating 500 registrations and 200 live participants.

From Zero Infrastructure to a Fully Running Fundraising System

The Solumkolia Breast Cancer Foundation was doing life-saving work — but without a fundraising system in place, sustaining that work was a constant struggle. They had no website, no donation platform, no email strategy, and no clear path to reaching donors. We changed that.

We built their online presence from the ground up, starting with a clean, user-friendly website designed to serve both as an information hub and a fundraising home. Alongside it, we integrated a secure online donation platform that made giving simple and seamless for supporters.

From there, we designed and launched a monthly giving program — complete with marketing materials, a launch campaign, and email sequences crafted to convert one-time donors into committed, recurring supporters. We set up their full email marketing system with templates for updates, appeals, and donor thank-yous, and developed a social media content strategy that kept their audience engaged, informed, and inspired to act.

What was once a foundation with no fundraising infrastructure became one with a complete, functioning digital ecosystem built to grow.

Launching a Vision into the World

Every foundation starts as an idea. Turning that idea into a credible, functioning organization that people trust and rally behind — that’s where we come in.

YAHZ Foundation’s founder had a clear desire to create a meaningful impact through the NGO sector but lacked the expertise to bring it to life. So we built it with them, from the very beginning.

We launched the organization from scratch — developing the full brand identity, building their website, and creating a social media strategy designed to communicate their work with clarity and purpose. Every visual, every word, and every digital touchpoint was crafted to reflect who they are and what they stand for.

Today, YAHZ Foundation has a voice, a presence, and a platform. And it all started with a conversation.
